Normally I'm pretty careful about pattern placement, but obviously I didn't recognize that this pattern would come out like it did. I think in real life it doesn't look as prominent as it does in this picture.

Tiramisu Version 13
This is the last tiramisu from my most recent batch. The fabric is an ITY knit from my cousin. I love the colors on this. After finishing these last five on Monday morning, I switched into this one to wear.
Tiramisu Version 12
This version is from the same fabric.com shipment and is a sweater knit. For the hemming on the bottom, I simply serged it in black thread and left it that way. I actually bought another sweater knit at the same time, but I wanted to try it out before cutting the other one. I think it came out fantastic, but I definitely won't be wearing it much until it cools off. If I wear it at all, it will probably be just to church and back as I'm often really cold in church.
Tiramisu Version 11
I love the design on this fabric. It's another one that I ordered through fabric.com when they had their knits at 50% off.
I need to remember to be fully turned to the side so that I don't look as dumpy.

Tiramisu Version 10
Version 10 is from a very thin knit. It's actually the one I wore today. The knit is from fabric.com and one of their sales. I actually ordered a number of knits at the time, including one that I planned to be my polka-dot Tiramisu, but they ran out of the polka dot in the colors I wanted so it will have to be in the next batch that I make. It sort of ensures that I will make another batch because I sort of have my heart set on a polka-dot version now.
The spinning shot seems to cover the front and side some so I didn't bother to post two of them.

Tiramisu Version 9
I actually finished versions 9 through 13 on Monday morning, but haven't gotten time to post anything on them until now. Q picked out this fabric on one of the trips where I dragged him to Jo-Anne's. I was skeptical that I would want to wear this, but I find that I like it quite a bit.
I tried a spinning shot with each of the dresses, but I don't think I'll be posting all of them. I took a front, side, back, and spinning for each dress and Q joked that if they ever need a mugshot of me they won't have to take pictures because they'll have one of each direction, my face mostly looks somber in each one, and since I've been wearing nothing but these dresses that the outfit will even be the same.

Sway in Austin
I'm visiting my mom and sister S in Austin. S and I left the girls with my mom and had our very first sister date. We went to Sway, a modern Thai restaurant.
It's a beautiful restaurant with lost of ambiance. We planned on ordering all the appetizers, but even being capable of great feats of gluttony, we only managed to split four and that was too much. We had the Prawn Miange (very spicy and weird texture, but very good), the Po-Pea Jay (also good, but other than the tomato vinegar pretty much what you could get anywhere else), the chicken wings (good, needs the lime served with it squeezed over it for that added punch), and the Satay (definitely taste the red chili peanut sauce they serve on the dish with it).
If you like Thai food I highly recommend it. If you don't like Thai food, you should still go for dessert. Order the banana split. It seriously was the best banana split I have ever eaten in my life. They make the ice cream, the maraschino cherries, brownie bits, and everything else there. I will be returning to try one or more of their other dishes and I will definitely leave room for the banana split.
